What Are Points?
Points are a way for users to "pay" for free webhosting. We say "pay", because no money will be required whatsoever, but Liway still needs to fund the hosting services, so we require users to make a contribution to Liway Forums in return for the free use of our resources.
How do I Get Points?
In short - by making posts.
Every post you make will earn you between 2 and 15 points. An average post is worth roughly 10 points, if you don't spam. How many points you make is not based on any one thing, however the main thing effecting this is how long your post it. The longer the better (up to a certain length, then it really doesn't matter).
How do I maximize my Point Earnings?
- Start Threads.
- Follow up on threads you have made.
- Make long, useful and meaningful posts rather than short, spammy ones.
Can I lose points?
Yes. The most common way to lose points, is if you break the rules. You will have some points deducted, the amount depending on the how many rules were broken, and how much so. So please read the forum rules!
So is there any other way to get points?
Yes, there are.
- Refer users to the forums (upon registration, they can specify a referrer).
- Participate in our regular contests, and win point prizes.
- Participate in competitions, and win point prizes.
- If you point out any mistakes or errors, with Liway's services, you may get a small point reward.
Forums where you do NOT Get Points
While you get points for posting everywhere else, there are a few forums, in which we feel people shouldn't get points for posting. However these forums should still be used ;)

- Introductions
- Jokes & Humor
- Off Off Off-Topic
- Contests
- The 'Hosting' Category of the forums
Please Note: That you will also be unable to see your point balance, below your username, in your posts, in these forums.
